Tiffany Joekel
Tiffany Joekel serves as the vice president of government affairs for Nebraska Medicine. In this role, she supports the mission and strategic goals of the organization through engagement, education and advocacy at local, state, and federal levels of government.
Joekel has over 15 years of experience in local, state, and federal legislative and regulatory affairs in both the public and nonprofit sectors. She has undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Justice and Peace Studies and a master’s degree in International Relations from Creighton University.
Ada Walker, JD
Ada K. Walker, JD, SHRM-SCP is Vice President for People Development and Culture at Nebraska Medicine. With over a decade of experience in higher education and health system administration, she brings a strategic, system-level approach to cultivating inclusive and high-performing organizational cultures.
Walker leads enterprise-wide strategies that strengthen talent development, leadership capacity, and organizational effectiveness. She also oversees community impact initiatives, ensuring the organization’s values are reflected both internally and across the communities it serves. Guided by Motivated Awareness and Inclusive Integrity, she helps teams align people practices with values—embedding dignity and respect into the workplace.
She draws on her legal training, administrative experience, and a deep commitment to people-centered strategies to identify organizational needs and design pathways that drive meaningful shifts in culture, climate and engagement.
Walker also serves her community through board roles with IBBG, WCA, Film Streams, Saving Grace Food Rescue, and the National Association of Health Services Executives. She holds a BA in Journalism and a JD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
