Anne Rote
An experienced healthcare executive, prior to joining Sellers Dorsey, Anne worked as President, Medicaid, for the Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC). At HCSC, Anne oversaw the Medicaid business, representing over 1 million Medicaid beneficiaries, leading focused efforts to implement innovative care management and member engagement programs. Before HCSC, Anne served as the Plan President for Molina Healthcare of Texas; there, she provided executive leadership and direction for the plan, doubling plan membership during her tenure through expanding geographically and launching new products, including a nursing facility Medicaid program.
Candice Whitfield
Candice brings a wealth of experience in healthcare administration and policy, with a strong track record of leading transformative initiatives. Before joining Sellers Dorsey, she served as Administrator in the Chief Medical Officer’s Office at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she managed quality and safety programs, hospital accreditation, infection prevention, medical staff services, and operational excellence initiatives. Notably, she partnered with the Division of Medicaid to design and implement the Mississippi Medicaid Access to Physician Services Program, securing over $100 million in funding, and founded the Office of Operational Excellence to improve hospital operations and financial performance. Prior to that, Candice was Health Policy Advisor in the Office of Governor Haley Barbour, where she led the state’s health policy agenda, collaborated on Medicaid reforms, and helped implement a DSH supplemental payment program that brought an additional $500 million to Mississippi.
