Learning Objectives

Learn about creation and implementation of a dedicated pulmonary nodule clinic in a large health care setting. This clinic is directed by an interventional pulmonology physician and staffed by pulmonologists and advanced practice providers, one of whom doubles up as a navigator ensuring patients are triaged appropriately. This clinic can see 1200 patients per year.

Dr. Kalyani C. Narra, MD

Kalyani Narra, MD, is a medical oncologist at JPS Health Network and an Associate Professor at the TCU Burnett School of Medicine. She has been a driving force behind quality improvement initiatives and cancer outcomes research, consistently advancing patient-centered care across the region.
As the Site Principal Investigator at JPS for the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) Clinical Trial Network Award and for multiple NCI cooperative group trials, Dr. Narra has elevated JPS into a regional leader in cancer clinical research. Her leadership has expanded access to cutting edge therapies for historically underserved populations, strengthening the institution’s role in advancing equitable cancer care.
Dr. Narra brings expertise in artificial intelligence to oncology. As a member of the inaugural NIH CLINAQ Fellowship cohort, she trained in AI applications for clinical research and established collaborations with several academic institutions. Her work bridges innovation, clinical practice, and community-focused cancer care.
