Sini Eapen serves as the Chest Pain Program Manager at Harris Health’s Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, Texas, bringing over 24 years of nursing experience to her role. She has been a dedicated member of the Ben Taub team for 17 years and, for the past three years, has led the hospital’s Chest Pain Program.
Sini is passionate about data-driven quality improvement and advancing cardiovascular care for underserved populations. Her work emphasizes early recognition of acute coronary syndrome, evidence-based treatment, safe transitions of care, and improved timely follow-up. Her leadership and contributions have been recognized through multiple quality awards and she is also an Associate of the American College of Cardiology. Sini holds a BSN from Grand Canyon University and both an MSN and DNP from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Her doctoral work focused on improving AMI care through structured discharge planning and coordinated follow-up.

Vanessa Obar serves as a Clinical Resource Nurse at Ben Taub Hospital, supporting multiple specialty areas including Pre/Post‑Anesthesia Care, Interventional Radiology, the GI Lab, and Pulmonary Services. With over a decade of experience in critical care and peri‑operative nursing, she brings extensive expertise in heart failure management, staff education, and clinical operations.
Vanessa holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration and maintains certifications in both Heart Failure and Progressive Care. Her clinical leadership is reflected in her collaborative contributions to the development of a Heart Care Support Group, an initiative designed to enhance patient engagement and improve outcomes beyond the bedside.
Driven by a passion for empowering both patients and healthcare teams, Vanessa is committed to advancing education, fostering collaboration, and promoting compassionate, evidence‑based care across the continuum of services she supports.
